Secondary | Specific Activities 2026-2027
Specific Activities refer to the extracurricular activities run by a selected group of external providers on school premises, outside of school hours, managed by APPLD. These activities are optional and are not part of the afterschool care.
Prerequisite to register to Specific Activities :
- being a member of APPLD for the year 2026/2027

The below list of activities is tentative: it could be changed accordingly to different factors, such as number of registrations, providers availability, sanitary situation etc.
The activities will start October 2026.
Club
Meditation
Description: A first period of relaxation using breathing and meditation techniques adapted to children will be followed by a sound bath. Students will learn to release tension and tune into their own environment. The techniques learned help in daily life and can be repeated at home to find peace.

Club Bilingual
Theater
Description: Develop unique qualities such as expressing oneself through body movements, playing with emotional states, developing a sense of space, improvising, knowing how to position oneself within a group on stage working on their voice volume and diction in English and French.

Club mini
United-Nations
Description: Students group that role-play as national ambassadors to debate and resolve global issues. Introducing young learners to the basics of the United Nations and global diplomacy in a fun and simple way. The club builds confidence, teamwork and global awareness.

Coding
Description: A fun, structured and motivating approach to coding: each activity is designed like an adventure game!
